31 Connaught Street, W2
Opened in 2025. Our shop and workshop, open six days a week for browsing, buying and smelling. Workshops run most evenings and weekends behind the shop.
53 Fashion Street, E1
Opened in 2023, where the workshops began. Expanded in 2024 to take 35. Workshops only, by booking. Not a shop, not open for walk-ins.
The shape of a session.
A glass of something.
You arrive, hang your coat, take your seat at the table. A glass of something warm or cold while the session settles.
The fragrance library.
Your tutor walks the group through the full oil library. You smell, take notes, find the direction your formula wants to go.
Blending at the table.
You build your formula drop by drop. We'll be next to you the whole time, suggesting, correcting, never rushing.
Take it home.
You finish the piece, name it, and carry it out the same day.
Take over the studio.
Close the studio to the public and bring a group of 8–35. We tailor the workshop, provide everything, and you leave with one blend per person. Most of our private bookings are for birthdays, hens, and team away-days.
What's included in the workshop price?
Everything. Materials, the vessel or bottle you take home, refreshments on arrival, and a Yougi tutor with you for the whole session.
I've never made anything before. Is that OK?
Yes — most of our guests haven't. We teach from zero. If you can taste tea and tell one flavour from another, you can smell essential oils.
Where are the workshop spaces?
We have two. 31 Connaught Street, London W2 (Marble Arch, five minutes from the tube) — this is also our shop, open six days a week. And 53 Fashion Street, Whitechapel, London E1 — workshops only, nearest tube Aldgate East. Each booking will tell you the exact location; full directions go out with the confirmation.
Who teaches the workshops?
Every workshop is designed by Emily. Most are taught by our team of Yougi tutors, who trained with her at the studio. Emily still teaches a handful of sessions each month — if she's hosting a specific date, we'll say so in the booking.
Can I book as a gift?
Yes. Choose "E-gift voucher" at checkout. Vouchers are valid for twelve months and work across any workshop.
What's your cancellation policy?
Workshop bookings are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, we will do our best to move you to another date: email info@yougilondon.com at least seven days before your slot. If you are ill or something comes up at the last minute, email us anyway and we will talk through your options.
Can I bring a friend?
Only if they've also booked a seat. Our classes are small by design and the table isn't big enough for guests.
