Soothe is lavender at the end of the day. Lavender with rose geranium, bergamot and a little eucalyptus to clear the head.
The first blend Emily ever made, from a memory of the Cotswolds: a field at dusk, the rows still warm underfoot. Now a soap you make by hand, four bars from an afternoon at your own table.
How to make your soap.
Four soaps from one afternoon. Take it gently: the video walks you through every step.

Melt the base.
Cut the shea butter base into pieces and warm it slowly, until it has fully melted.

Add the blend.
Stir in your essential oil blend, then the dried lavender, the pink clay and the charcoal, as the instructions describe.

Pour.
Pour into the silicone mould, four cavities, and leave them to set.

Turn out.
Once firm, turn them out. Give them a day before the first wash: they will keep the longer for it.
